Humility is often characterised as genuine gratitude and a lack of arrogance, a modest view of oneself.

However, the biblical definition of humility goes far beyond this. Humility is a critical and continuous emphasis of godliness in the Bible, as we are called upon to be humble followers of Christ and trust in the wisdom and salvation of God. To live with Humility, means adopting His mindset of selfless service, putting others’ needs before your own, valuing God above all, and serving out of love, mirroring Jesus’ example of giving up divine privilege to become a humble servant who ultimately sacrificed His life for others, finding strength and true dignity in this self-sacrifice, not self-promotion.  In being connected with God, we recognise that all good things in our lives ultimately flow from Him, and in the remembrance that what we do everything is for His glory, we will help develop a humble heart.

Resourcefulness is a mindset in which we have the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties. In the pursuit of a goal, Resourcefulness is key. People who display Resourcefulness typically exhibit the following six characteristics: Open-Minded; Self-Assured; Imaginative; Pro-active; Persistent; and Hopeful. To live with Christ-like Resourcefulness is the ability to act effectively and imaginatively in difficult situations by relying on God’s guidance and wisely utilising the gifts, time, and resources already provided, with a focus on serving others and advancing God’s kingdom.

We act with courage, conviction and with the highest moral standards based upon our belief in Christ.  Living with Christ-like Integrity means living with wholeness, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to God’s truth, being the same person in private as in public, reflecting Jesus’ character by aligning your actions with your faith, putting God first, and being true to your divine identity, even when it’s difficult or unpopular, relying on God’s grace to empower this authentic, transparent life.

We are called through God’s Grace, His Will, and His Gifts to serve Him. Remembering that Man was created in God’s likeness, we serve God by serving and ministering to others. We are not all called to do exactly the same things, but we are all called to serve Christ in some way. In Ephesians 2:10 God declares He is the “workman” and that He is the one who has prepared the good works that we should perform. He has prepared work for each of us to do, and to equip us for these works, he has given us the necessary spiritual gifts.  Living with Christ-like Service is being selfless, humble service motivated by compassion and love for others, following the example of Jesus Christ. The focus is on meeting the needs of others without expectation of reward or recognition. Giving what is needed and not seeking reward.

Tenacity simply put is the quality or fact of being determined or persistent. Tenacity is more than endurance; it is endurance combined with the absolute certainty that what we are looking for is going to transpire.

God allows us to walk through difficult and challenging seasons, personally and corporately, in order to develop a tenacity of faith that is well-able to stand and having done all to stand in the face of whatever comes our way.

Living with Christ-like tenacity means a persistent, resolute, and hopeful commitment to God’s Will and promises, even amidst hardship, being strongly rooted in the faith of Christ’s strength, not our own, to overcome obstacles and achieve eternal goals. It’s more than just “hanging on”; it’s a confident, purposeful endurance, like Jesus’ unwavering focus on His mission, driven by divine empowerment and the certainty of eventual triumph, not just stubbornness.
