Welcome to Sunshine Kindy, the Early Learning and Christian Education Centre of Bayside Christian College. We are delighted to partner with families during this precious stage of a child’s development and consider it a privilege to be entrusted with their care, learning, and growth.

At Sunshine Kindy, we believe that every child is uniquely created by God, deeply loved by Him, and blessed with their own gifts, talents, and potential. Our purpose is to provide a nurturing, Christ-centred environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged as they grow in their love of God, love of others, and love of learning.

The home is a child’s first and most important place of learning. From birth, parents and families play the primary role in nurturing, guiding, and shaping their child’s understanding of the world. We recognise and value this vital responsibility and believe that the strongest outcomes for children occur when families and educators work together in partnership. As your child begins their Sunshine Kindy journey, we look forward to walking alongside you, supporting and enriching the foundation that has already been established within your home. 

Our educational program is designed to foster the development of the whole child—spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Through purposeful play, exploration, creativity, discovery, and meaningful relationships, children develop confidence, curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. We encourage children to wonder, investigate, create, and engage with the world around them while developing the foundational skills that prepare them for future success at school and in life.

Within our caring Christian community, children experience the love, kindness, patience, encouragement, and guidance that help nurture a strong sense of identity and belonging. As they learn and grow, they are supported in developing positive relationships, emotional wellbeing, communication skills, independence, problem-solving abilities, and an awareness of God’s love and care for them.

Sunshine Kindy provides a gentle and purposeful transition from home into formal schooling, helping children develop the confidence and readiness required for the next stage of their educational journey. Through our partnership with families and our connection to Bayside Christian College, children are supported within a consistent and nurturing Christian environment that values every aspect of their development.
