MEET THE LEADERSHIP TEAMS
Bayside Christian College is committed to the development of leadership within all members of staff. As such the College aims to grow and develop leadership and provide staff with genuine opportunities to contribute to the growth and maturity of the College.
The following Leadership Teams and Committees have been developed to assist the Principal/CEO in the development and operation of the College. The mandated scope will be reviewed as required to ensure College needs are met.
Executive Leadership Team
The Executive Leadership Team are the key operational leaders of the College. They are collectively responsible for the delivery of key strategic objectives and the day-to-day management of the College.
The Executive Leadership Team will review and make decisions on all operational matters and provide advice to the Principal/CEO on key matters.
The Executive Leadership Team also have a special designated role in ensuring the philosophy and practise of Care within the College stems from both a Biblical world view and from a Christian Ministry perspective. The Team has a designated responsibility to ensure that Christian principles are not only evident but promoted, and that Christ is genuinely welcomed and celebrated in His community.
The Deputy Principal deputises for the Principal/CEO as required.

Senior Leadership Team
The Senior Leadership Team consists of a broad range of staff leaders. This diverse staff team lead and develop all aspects of curriculum, and lead pedagogy. They have an important role in developing systems and procedures to best support our students.
This leadership team are responsible for operationalising many of the strategic directives and provide important advice to members of the Executive Leadership Team.
Members of the Senior Leadership Team are seconded to the Executive Leadership Team when needed.

The Pastoral Care Team are responsible for the development of the Pastoral Care Curriculum, the embedding of Christian Values into the life of the College, and the monitoring and coordination of care for students at risk.

Awards Committee
The Awards Committee is responsible for the administration of all College Awards. This includes but is not limited to Speech Day Awards; Symbols, Colours and Honour Awards; and major Co-curricular Awards.

The Scholarship Committee are responsible for the Awarding of College Scholarships. All Scholarships are Merit-based.
(This is distinct from College Bursaries which are provided through a separate Compliance mechanism held by the Principal/CEO)

Uniform Committee
The Uniform Committee as resposible for the periodic review of the College uniform as directed by the Principal/CEO. This Committee is only formed when a Review is needed or when specific items need to be considered for addition/deletion.
The Uniform Committee are bound by the Uniform policy and scope provided by the Principal/CEO.
