Our Year 4 students have been working incredibly hard in class, especially during Science lessons. Over the past few weeks, they have been learning all about magnetic forces and how magnets interact with different materials.
To make their learning even more exciting, students designed their own superhero emblems and tested how magnetism works using their creations. They investigated which materials were attracted to magnets and which were not, recording their observations and discussing their results like real scientists.
They have also enjoyed learning about the First Fleet and researching the lives of some of the first convicts to travel to Australia. At times it has been difficult to understand how different life was, and how harsh conditions were.
The classroom has been full of curiosity, teamwork, and fantastic questions as students experimented, researched and shared their discoveries.
