After having a fun time at the Book Week Parade and quickly sharing some time with grandparents and special friends, our Year 3 and Year 4 students went on to enjoy a day of sport at the Gala Sports Day. Seventeen students had a great day playing Netball at the Sports Precinct, playing against other local schools.
All students played in the spirit of the day with sportsmanship, and with the goal of having fun while trying a new sport. Team spirit was very evident with positive communication, competitive effort, and a combined celebration of achievements.
Well done to our Year 3 and Year 4 students!
Soccer Stars
The Year 3 & 4 Soccer Gala Day was fun in the sun for everyone!
The students from Bayside put their best feet forward with each team playing in 5 games over the course of the day.
The students had a great time either learning new skills or showing off their soccer talents, whilst working together as a team.
The teachers were so pleased to observe the College comradery with the students cheering each other on from the sidelines. It was wonderful to see more advanced soccer players assisting the students who were new to the game. A big thank you to the parents, grand parents and other family members who came along to join in on the fun, the students and teachers appreciated your support.
