Blame can provide temporary relief because it allows us to avoid discomfort, protect our pride and preserve the belief that we are entirely in the right. However, from a Christian perspective, maturity begins when we are willing to stand before God with humility and ask, “Lord, what is happening within me, and what do I need to change?”

What we pass on through our cultural narratives, stories, teachings, beliefs, and the knowledge we formulate, becomes our way of life and the basis that we have to make sense of the world. There is no doubt that if we compared life in ancient times, there are a great many differences to today – like all things some good, some not so.
