It’s an exciting time of year as we celebrate milestones, look ahead to special events, and begin planning for the future. This week was particularly memorable for our Year 12 students as they marked an important step in their final year of schooling.
On Wednesday, our Year 12 students celebrated 100 Days Until Graduation, marking the beginning of the final chapter of their schooling journey. The day commenced with Senior Sunshine, where students gathered in the early hours to watch the sunrise together. It was a fitting opportunity to pause, reflect on their years of schooling, and appreciate the friendships and memories they have built along the way.
Following the sunrise, students enjoyed a hot breakfast together, providing another chance to connect, share stories, and celebrate this significant milestone. The morning continued with Community Time, where students came together as a cohort and listened to heartfelt and inspiring words from the Heads of House. It was a privilege to acknowledge the growth, resilience, and achievements of our senior students and encourage them to make the most of the final 100 days of their school journey.
House Games:
The next five weeks promise to be busy and exciting as we lead into the end of term. Students are encouraged to get involved in our House Games, which will be held each Wednesday at lunchtime. Keep an eye on posters around the school and the daily notices for details of upcoming activities and opportunities to earn valuable House points.
Year 12 Formal:
We are also looking forward to celebrating with our Year 12 students as they prepare for their Senior Formal. This is always a highlight of the school calendar and a wonderful opportunity for students to come together, celebrate their achievements, and create lasting memories. If you would like to see them arrive in all the glitz and glamour, arrivals start from 5pm. We are excited to share this special occasion with them and know it will be a fantastic night for all involved.
2027 Leadership Opportunities:
Looking further ahead, Student Leadership applications for 2027 are now open for our current Year 11 students. This is an exciting opportunity for students who are passionate about serving others, contributing to the school community, and developing their leadership skills.
