We have officially reached the middle of Term Three, and the English and Languages classrooms at Bayside are a hive of creative energy. While our younger students are mastering the art of narrative, our middle years are spending some time with ‘the Bard’, our Year 12s are beginning to see the “light at the end of the tunnel” as they navigate their final internal assessments. Across all year levels, our students continue to grow and learn, leaning into the challenges of critical analysis and imaginative expression.

It has been another busy and exciting term in Science with lots of exciting experiments and projects taking place. It is always so rewarding to see students engaging in hands on activities in our classrooms and letting their creativity guide them as they explore new scientific concepts.

Effective communication between home and school plays a vital role in supporting every student’s learning journey. Our TASS Parent Lounge and Student Café provide families and students with easy access to important information, helping everyone stay informed, organised, and engaged throughout the school year.

As we move towards the final stages of the school year, several important curriculum milestones are approaching across the College. From Year 6 students exploring new elective opportunities to Year 12 students preparing for their final examinations, each stage has been carefully designed to support students’ learning, personal growth, and future pathways.

The week began with a special visit to Fairhaven Retirement Village, where students shared God’s love through service to the community. The class performed the song Waymaker for the residents, bringing joy and encouragement to everyone who attended. Our students represented the school wonderfully, demonstrating kindness, respect, and compassion throughout the visit.

Term 3 is shaping up to be an exciting and engaging term for our Year 6 students, with many wonderful opportunities and activities scheduled throughout the term.
