A reminder that 2027 TAFE at School enrolments are now open for current Year 10, 11 and 12 students.
TAFE at School programs provide students with the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications while completing their secondary education. These qualifications can contribute towards a student’s Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), develop industry-specific skills and enhance employment, apprenticeship, traineeship and tertiary education pathways.
With places limited across many courses, students are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure acceptance into their preferred course.

- Complete the application process using your:
- Learner Unique Identifier (LUI) – found on Student Cafe
- Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Students who do not yet have a USI can create one at www.usi.gov.au. A valid form of identification, such as a Medicare Card, will be required during registration.
Please note: Eligible school students can access funding for one VETiS Government-funded qualification only, so students should carefully consider their course selection before applying.

UniSC Headstart Information Sessions
UniSC is inviting high-achieving Year 10, 11 and 12 students and their families to attend upcoming Headstart Information Sessions. Headstart Information Evenings | UniSC | University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia
The Headstart program allows eligible students to experience university study while still at school by enrolling in first-year university subjects. Students can gain credit towards a future UniSC degree, develop university-level study skills and experience tertiary education in a supported environment.
During the information sessions, students and families will learn about program requirements, course options, application processes and the benefits of participation. Attendees will also hear directly from current Headstart students who will share their experiences and provide practical advice about balancing university and school study.
