1Q – A Special Visitor in Our Classroom

This term, our class was fortunate to welcome Mrs Shrives, who spent two weeks with us as part of her University practicum. It was wonderful having Mrs Shrives in our classroom, and the students thoroughly enjoyed the exciting and engaging activities she planned for us.

One particularly memorable experience was when Mrs Shrives based our learning around The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Through this much-loved story, the students explored growing patterns in a fun and hands-on way. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and curiosity as they developed their understanding through the activities.

We are very grateful to Mrs Shrives for the wonderful two weeks she spent with us and wish her all the best as she continues her teaching journey!
